The Yakima is in fabulous condition. There is a variety of zones and techniques one can use, and go. Water temps are ranging from 58-62 depending on time and zone.
The Lower Canyon has some good head hunting in isolated shaded zonesEating Caddis or PMDs generally.
Nymphing predominant seams and lines throughout the river has been productive. Streamers at low light have caught a few as well.
