Weve had some very cold nights and mornings, along with some early snow. The fishing season is winding down, but we continue to have fishing opportunities in the valley, especially during the warm part of the day. The flow out of Taylor Reservoir will be dropped to 100 cfs for the winter on October 15-16. Sections of the Gunnison River will be too low to float, but we can sometimes continue to walk/wade fish into early November depending on the weather.
Nights and mornings have been much colder, and we have had some snow in the mountains. Well see more snow in the forecast now as the fishing season winds down over the next few weeks. We continue to have decent fishing opportunities in the valley, especially during the warm part of the day.
