Nov 16 Jimmy's All Seasons Angler

There is little boat traffic on the river. Much of it is from waterfowl hunters. Brown trout are spawning up and down the river. Please do not disturb their redds. They are making the brown trout of the future for us to enjoy.

Nov 09 Jimmy's All Seasons Angler

The main stem above American Fall Reservoir is the best option for hard sided boating in the area. Water flow throughout is a bit below normal but suitable for such. Numerous walk-in wade locations are present, and there is good streamer fishing under low light conditions, especially for migrating brown trout.
