DESCHUTES RIVER, Lake Billy Chinook to Benham Falls: Rainbow trout, brown trout, whitefish
Open to fishing all year. No harvest of rainbow trout over 20 inches. Anglers should expect to see flows increasing between Benham falls and Bend in April with the beginning of irrigation season. At the time of writing, outflows from Wickiup Dam were 660 cfs and ramping up. Last updated 4/16/26.
