CHETCO RIVER: Winter steelhead
Rain last week improved fishing conditions for boat and bank anglers. Flows have dropped, but the forecast is for regular storm events which should make for some good fishing over the next few weeks. Anglers will find steelhead throughout the river. Anglers are reminded that all tributaries to the Chetco are closed to fishing.

Low and clear. Boat anglers are seeing steelhead scattered throughout the river, but conditions are making for some tough fishing. Rain this weekend should improve conditions dramatically. Anglers are reminded that all tributaries to the Chetco are closed to fishing.
