BREITENBUSH RIVER: Trout
This river feeds into Detroit Reservoir and offers several campgrounds along its steep, narrow course. It gets stocked with hatchery trout June July. It will be stocked this week with 1,400 hatchery trout. Flies or other light tackle work best, but bait is allowed. Anglers are allowed to keep 5 trout per day. Last updated 6/17/26.
