The Evening Hatch
UPPER COLUMBIA
We have been mixing it up on the Upper Columbia this fall. The sturgeon fishing has been PDG. Unfortunately we have not been able to get them on the surface, but oh well:))
The trout game has been sporadic. Recently the late afternoon into the evening has certainly been the better time frame and the dry fly really has been the best technique, followed by a swung fly and then the nymph.

As per usual, this fishery never ceases to amaze me No complaints. World class trout on the swing 100%
